How to ask

1. Email [email protected] from the email address you use to sign in to Quote Surveyor.
2. Use the subject line "Delete my account". You don't need to give a reason.
3. We'll reply to confirm, and delete your account within one month (usually much sooner).

We only act on requests sent from the address on the account, so nobody else can delete it for you.

What we delete

• Your account and email address
• Every quote you uploaded, including the original files
• Your projects, ratings, comparisons and Full Quote Check reports
• Any copies of your quotes kept to improve our checks
• Your answers to "Did we read the total right?"

What we keep, and for how long

• Purchase records (which check was bought, when, the price and the Google Play order reference): six years, because UK tax law requires us to keep financial records. They are not used for anything else.
• Typical prices already calculated from many people's quotes: these stay, because they no longer relate to any one person.
• Server logs are deleted automatically after a short period.

Google keeps its own record of purchases made through Google Play; that is covered by Google's privacy policy.
